The Hunter Ladies Original Adjustable High Boot Wellys Aubergine is part of Hunter's heritage Wellington boot range, handmade from 28 separate pieces of natural rubber. Hunter has been making rubber boots in essentially the same form since the 1950s, and the brand holds two Royal Warrants.
Fully waterproof to the top of the leg, with vulcanised seams and a moulded non-slip sole. The adjustable strap on the side allows the calf circumference to be set precisely for different leg shapes. The interior is unlined (the original specification), making the boot suitable for wearing with thick wool socks in cold weather or alone in warmer conditions.
This is the burgundy colourway.
The Original Wellington is unisex sized — if you have narrower calves or a different calf-to-foot proportion, the Ladies range offers a slightly tapered calf cut.
Care: Rinse with cold water after muddy use. Allow to dry naturally — never use direct heat. Apply Hunter Boot Buffer occasionally to restore the matte finish. Store away from direct sunlight.
