The Outlet is where reduced stock lives at English Brands: factory seconds, end-of-line colourways and the last pairs of a size run, all from the same British and heritage makers as the rest of the shop. Prices come down for one of three reasons — a small cosmetic mark from the factory, a colour the maker has stopped producing, or a broken size run we won't restock. Never because the shoe itself is a lesser thing.

Everything here is genuine stock, bought through the trade and sold with the same delivery and returns as full-price orders. Because these are one-off pairs rather than a standing range, sizes go and don't come back — if yours is showing, it's worth taking. Free UK delivery over £50.

What's in the Outlet?

Chiefly factory seconds — first-quality shoes with a slight blemish that failed the maker's inspection — alongside discontinued colours and odd remaining sizes. Reduced clothing and accessories appear here too whenever we have them.

Are outlet items lower quality?

No. The construction, materials and factory are identical to the full-price stock; a Goodyear-welted shoe here is welted exactly as it would be at full price and can be resoled the same way. What differs is availability and, on the seconds, a cosmetic detail.

Can I return an outlet purchase?

Yes — reduced items carry the same returns terms as everything else. Do check the size guide on the product page first, though, since we usually can't offer an exchange in another size on a one-off pair.

How often does the Outlet change?

Continually and unpredictably. Stock arrives when a maker releases it rather than to a season, so the page is worth checking rather than waiting on — there's no sale date to hold out for.
