The Joseph Cheaney Tweed C Wingcap Brogue Country Boot Almond Grain Leather is bench-made by hand at the Joseph Cheaney & Sons factory in Desborough, Northamptonshire. Founded in 1886 and independent since 2009, Cheaney is one of England's finest traditional shoemakers, making each pair using the same Goodyear welted construction it has used for over 130 years.
A country-weight derby or brogue boot, robust enough for active country use yet refined enough to wear in town. The upper is full-grain leather in a textured grain or a fine calf depending on the model. The Goodyear welt connects upper to sole through a leather strip, making the boot waterproof at the joint and fully resoleable.
The Almond Grain leather is a fine pebble-grain finish in a warm light brown — distinctive, hard-wearing, and a Cheaney signature.
