The Médaille d'Or range (named for the gold medal Saphir won at the 1925 Paris exhibition) uses higher-grade waxes, pigments, and natural oils than standard polishes, and is the choice of bespoke and bench-made shoemakers worldwide.
A specialist cleaner for suede, nubuck, crepe and textiles, including technical "tex" fabrics. It lifts dirt out of the nap and leaves the original colour looking fresher. This is not a smooth-leather product — for smooth calf, use a Saphir cleaner made for it.
How to use: Dampen a suede brush with tepid water, apply the cleaner to the brush, and work it thoroughly through the nap. Leave the suede to dry completely, rinsing the brush meanwhile, then lift the residue off and raise the nap again with a brass or crepe brush. Do not buff — suede is not polished to a shine.
