Saphir Medaille d'Or Pate de Luxe is the polish used by the master shoemakers of Northampton, Paris, and Milan. The 100ml tin contains a blend of pine resin, beeswax, carnauba wax, and natural pigment — formulated to nourish the leather while producing a depth of shine that mass-market polishes cannot match. Dark Green is for the green calf used on country boots, shooting boots and the occasional green brogue. The pigment is translucent, so it refreshes and deepens the green without turning it opaque.
Apply thinly with a polishing cloth, work in small circular motions, allow 10 minutes to absorb, then buff with a horsehair brush. For mirror finish on toes and heels, follow with Saphir Mirror Gloss.
