Saphir Medaille d'Or Pate de Luxe is the polish used by the master shoemakers of Northampton, Paris, and Milan. The 50ml tin contains a blend of pine resin, beeswax, carnauba wax, and natural pigment — formulated to nourish the leather while producing a depth of shine that mass-market polishes cannot match. Navy Blue is for navy calf, where black wax flattens the colour and neutral leaves it looking tired. Used regularly it holds the depth in a navy shoe.
Apply thinly with a polishing cloth, work in small circular motions, allow 10 minutes to absorb, then buff with a horsehair brush. For mirror finish on toes and heels, follow with Saphir Mirror Gloss.
